SHERSON WILLIS WAS FOUNDED IN 2006 BY TRISH SHERSON AND REWA WILLIS, WHO LEAD A GROWING TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS FROM DIVERSE YET COMPLEMENTARY BACKGROUNDS:
PUBLIC RELATIONS, NEWS MEDIA, GOVERNMENT RELATIONS, DIGITAL, STRATEGIC PLANNING, ACTIVATIONS AND EVENTS, PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING. WE HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE ACROSS BOTH CORPORATE AND CONSUMER COMMUNICATIONS.
LEADERSHIP TEAM

Trish Sherson
Co-Founder / Strategy Director
Trish is a highly experienced communications strategist with a background in the media. Trish has political experience having worked in the New Zealand Parliament as a Senior Caucus Press Secretary, before joining TVNZ as the Wellington producer for preeminent daily current affairs programmes Late Edition and Holmes.

Trish has worked in corporate communications since 2004 and co-founded Sherson Willis in 2006. As Strategy Director, Trish oversees the strategic direction and management of our client accounts.

REWA WILLIS
Co-Founder / Business Director
Rewa has extensive experience in brand building and marketing communications. She started her career in 1994 as the New Zealand Fashion Editor for Girlfriend Magazine before moving in to public relations. Since then she has led communications campaigns for some of the most high-profile global and local companies in New Zealand.

Rewa co-founded Sherson Willis in 2006, and as Business Director is responsible for our strategic growth. She also oversees the financial management of client projects to ensure these are scoped accurately and delivered within budget.

AMY MCKENZIE
Associate Director
Amy is a qualified lawyer with more than 15 years’ communications experience in New Zealand and the UK. Her experience includes strategic counsel, corporate relations, media relations, stakeholder and consumer engagement, and brand building. Amy’s strengths lie in her strong business acumen and ability to understand and advise on complex issues and clearly articulate them to stakeholders and the media.

As Associate Director, Amy works across both corporate and consumer communications.

THOMAS PRYOR
Associate Director
Thomas is a highly experienced advisor on government relations and reputation management issues. He has worked extensively across politics and the corporate sector including as a Ministerial Advisor to a senior Cabinet Minister, an advisor in the office of the then Leader of the Opposition, John Key, a corporate affairs manager for a large multinational, and leading government relations for the NZ Bankers’ Association.

He has recently returned from the UK where he worked closely on the EU referendum campaign as a Chief of Staff to a senior MP.
